During Saturday we were lucky to have Alan Spice with us to run a basic animation workshop in the TSX marquee. Alan who is self taught, volunteered and helped kids produce some plastacean animation using a camera and laptop stop frame technique which the kids could watch when finished. He also copied it to DVD so the kids could take it home.
Alan was kept very busy for the whole day and the kids and parents had a great time.
It is the aim of TSX to allow people to help mold our groups in ways that suite their own needs and the freedom to introduce new activates within our groups that sets us apart from other organizations.
Each group has different needs in different geographical area so it is important that people like Alan are able to bring something new to a group which would benefit those members who wish to join in this activity.
