TSX run an open door policy with no referral needed. If you wish to come along to one of our groups all you need to do is turn up. Although we use art as our foundation, what you do during your time at a group is up to you. We welcome new ideas from any member as our aim is for you to make the group one that will be the best experience for you.
TSX is about you and our ethos of flexibility allows us to adapt within the group without all the red tape of larger organizations such as the NHS.
It is important to us that we continually look and ask for your opinion and advice on how we can improve our groups so that they best suite each area, as each area has its own unique needs. Vange is different from Grays or Laindon so we must be able to move with the needs of that community.
It is hoped that in time people from within each group will wish to take over the daily running of their group so that TSX can move on to set up new ones in other areas and that all groups will become part of an ever growing community throughout the UK and the world.

On June 3rd/4th July TSX launched their first annual exhibition at the Basildon Festival and it was a major success. Over the two day event we had 100s of visitors to our marquee and sold a number of paintings that were donated from artists around the world.
It gave us the opportunity to show people the work that TSX do within the community and allowed us to network with many of the other organizations that took part over the weekend. We had invitations to help set up new groups and have had new members join the ever growing network of TSX groups. It also gave people with an interest in art and in volunteer work the opportunity to find out more and we have had a number of new volunteers apply since the BasFest weekend.
